YouthBuild USA Taps Workforce Development Pioneer to Create New Pathways to Economic Opportunity
Boston, MA — June 23, 2023 — YouthBuild programs across the country can now offer a comprehensive set of online skills training programs to their learners, thanks to a new partnership between YouthBuild USA and Penn Foster, the pioneering workforce development platform that works with employers and community organizations around the country to bridge the gap between education and economic mobility.
SOMERVILLE, Mass., May 28, 2023 — In recognition of its outstanding service to opportunity youth, YouthBuild USA has been awarded an $8.9 million grant from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), the federal agency responsible for AmeriCorps and other national service programs. This funding is a continuation of a three-year grant. Funds will be distributed to YouthBuild programs across the country that are helping young people reclaim their education and careers.
